Course schedule and curriculum (Opens in new window)
The course covers how cognitive processes in biological systems takes place through the system’s interaction with the physical and social environment. There is a particular focus on how cognitive processes develop in interaction with the outside world and how they, and their development, uphold and change in different contexts. The knowledge obtained in the comparative cognition course will broaden by studying how variations of cognitive abilities in different contexts can be used to construct adequate artifacts and systems that support human thought and behavior. An essential theme is how to know when an entire cognitive system works.
The course is given in Swedish.
