Tenth International Conference on Epigenetic Robotics
Modeling Cognitive Development in Robotic Systems
Örenäs Slott, Sweden, November, 5-7, 2010
Instructions for poster presentation
1. Prepare a poster with a maximum width of 750mm and height of 1200mm.
2. Prepare one or two slides for the spotlight session. The spotlight session will be three minutes and we will need to keep time strictly. All the presentations will be projected from the same laptop. Remember that the purpose of spotlight presentations is to motivate people to come to see and discuss your poster later on, not to explain your research in detail!
Please bring the poster and the slides to the registration desk before 09:20. You can also email us the slides (email@example.com)
Instructions for oral presentation of full paper
Oral presentations of full papers should be 30 minutes in length, including questions. Please allow 10 minutes to answer questions from the audience. You are normally expected to do your presentation using your own laptop. However, if this is not possible for you, please let us know in advance by email and give us your file when you collect your conference pack at the registration desk.
Instructions for Authors
EpiRob '10 will accept submissions in two categories:
- long papers (presenting more mature research ideas and results)
- short abstracts (presenting more preliminary / ongoing work).
Manuscripts submitted as long papers should have a maximum length of 8 pages using the usual EpiRob format (former SAB template modified for A4 paper). Manuscripts submitted as abstracts should have a maximum length of 2 pages using the usual EpiRob format. The style files for LaTex are available in zip format and in tar format. There is also a Word style file available.
All submissions must be in PDF format with A4 paper size.
Accepted long papers will have oral presentations at the conference. Accepted abstracts will be presented as posters. Authors of accepted abstracts will also have the opportunity to make a brief oral presentation during a Poster Spotlight session.
All submissions and camera-ready papers and abstracts should be sent as email attachments in PDF format (only) to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
