| I am working on classical conditioning models as a basis of motivation and emotion, and for their use in reinforcement learning. Current interest is in trying out real-world implementations of the conditioning model described in my thesis. The hope is that by adding the contraints imposed by "real" data, numerous weaknesses and oversights in the current model will need to be addressed. |
Thanks to JSPS and SSF, I will spend a year at the Social Interaction
Group
at CRL in Keihanna,
starting in
November. This will be an excellent opportunity to work with people with a
different take on behaviour than the one I am taking, and I hope it will
be a beneficial year
for me and the lab both.
I have been asked by numerous people to document this year in some
way. Thus I have
started an irregular blog here for those who are interested.
